What a real mock test is
A practice paper with a timer tells you how many answers you got right. A real mock tells you your band, section by section, under the conditions of the day.

How to take one
- Get your seat. Five sittings are included in the IELTS Master Course. Not on the course? Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you the price and the next date.
- Sit it in one go. A laptop or desktop, a quiet room, headphones and about two and three-quarter hours. Speaking is a separate short interview with a coach.
- Read your report. Section bands, the overall band, and a teacher's written feedback on your Writing and Speaking within a few days.
- Fix the cheapest band first. The report shows which section is holding you back — usually one skill is half a band from moving the overall. That is where the next weeks go.
Who it is for
Anyone about to book the real test and not sure they are ready; students outside Dhaka who cannot get to a centre for a paper mock; and students on the course, who sit five across the three months so that the real test is a sixth full sitting, not a first. Before you book the real test
Check your section bands against what your university asks for — the band score calculator shows how the overall is rounded, and the study abroad page lists the typical requirements. If one section is short, a second mock after three or four weeks of focused work is cheaper than a second real test.

Is the IELTS mock test online?
Yes. It is computer-based and taken online, the way most IELTS test centres in Bangladesh now deliver the real test — the same timing, the same question types, typed answers. Use a laptop or desktop with a stable connection, as you would on the day.
Is the mock test free?
Five full mock tests are included in the IELTS Master Course fee. If you are not on the course, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you the current price for a single sitting.
Do I get a band score?
Yes — a band for every section and an overall band. Listening and Reading are scored the moment you finish; Writing and Speaking are marked by a teacher against the band descriptors, with written feedback, so you know why you got the band and what to change.
Is it IELTS Academic or General Training?
IELTS Academic — the test universities ask for, and the one our course teaches. The Listening and Speaking sections are the same in both versions of IELTS.
How long does a mock test take?
About as long as the real thing: Listening around 30 minutes, Reading 60 and Writing 60, taken in one sitting; Speaking is a separate 11–14-minute interview arranged with a coach. Plan for a quiet two and three-quarter hours.
When should I sit a mock test?
Once before you book the real test, to see whether you are ready, and then at intervals through your preparation — the course places five across its three months so that the real test is your sixth full sitting, not your first.
The first full test should not be the real one.
