This Privacy Policy describes how BayRen Education (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with this website.

1. The short version

Most people reach us on WhatsApp, email or phone, and you never have to give us anything to read this site. There are three places where we do ask: the short call-back form on our course pages, the course form in our Facebook and Instagram ads, and the form on our free-materials site, which asks a little more because the guides are free and the details are what we ask in return. We also run practice apps that you sign in to, and those hold an account. We use what you give us to reply to you, teach you and measure our advertising, as described below. We do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

2. Information we collect on this site

The call-back form (on our course pages): your name, your WhatsApp number and, if you choose one, your target band. We use these to reply to you about our courses and to measure the advertising that brought you here, as described under Measurement and advertising cookies below.
The course form in our Facebook and Instagram ads: your name and phone number. Facebook fills them in from your profile and asks you to confirm the number with a text code before you send the form. We use them only to message you on WhatsApp, or to call you, about the course you asked about. We never sell them. Meta's own privacy policy also covers what you do on Facebook and Instagram.
The free-materials form (on resources.bayrenedu.com, where you can download our free IELTS guides): your name, WhatsApp number and email address, your date of birth, the country you want to study in, your division, the band you are aiming for, and how you heard about us. We ask for these because the guides are free and this is what we ask in return; we use them to send you the guides and to give you advice that fits your situation. The same site's "Find My Best Country" tool asks a few more questions about your plans in order to produce your result.
If you create an account in one of our practice apps: your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, division, destination country and target band, together with a password we store only in scrambled (hashed) form, and a record of the practice you do so we can show you your progress. One account works across all of our apps.
If you pay for a Practice Pass: the way you paid (bKash, Nagad, bank transfer or card), the number or account you paid from, the transaction ID and the amount, so we can check your payment and open your pass. If card payment is offered, a card payment partner handles it: they tell us your email and order number, and we never see or keep your card details.
Your profile photo, if you add one: a small square copy of the photo you choose from your phone. It is shown with your name on BayRen's pages — to you in the corner of every page while you are signed in, and wherever your name is shown to other students, such as a practice app's leaderboard. Adding one is your choice, and you can change it or remove it at any time on your account page.
Why we ask for a date of birth: so that the course and the country advice we give you actually suit you. We do not accept a sign-up from anyone under 10 years old.
Deleting it: ask us at any time — on WhatsApp or by email — and we will delete what we hold about you. You do not have to give a reason.
Measurement and advertising cookies: this site uses Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and the TikTok pixel. They tell us which pages are read and which advertisements bring people here, and they allow us to show our advertisements again to people who have visited. If you send the call-back form, a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your number is also sent to Meta and TikTok so that they can match your enquiry to the advertisement you came from — they never receive your number in readable form.
Your time zone: a small cookie remembers your device's time zone, so that we show Bangla only to visitors in Bangladesh and plain English to everyone else. It is not used for advertising.
Your choice: you can block these at any time in your browser's settings, or with your device's tracking controls. The site works normally without them.
Standard server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider (cPanel/Apache) may keep basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and reliability. These are managed by the hosting provider.

3. When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the information you choose to share (such as your name and your enquiry) so we can reply and help you enroll. We use it only for that purpose. Messages sent over WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

4. Third-party links

Our site links to external platforms such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Once you leave our site, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

5. How we protect this site

The site is served over a secure HTTPS connection.
Forms are sent over that same secure connection, and what you send is kept apart from the databases that hold student accounts.
Passwords are never stored in readable form, and only a small number of our staff can see enquiry details.
We apply standard server security headers and keep access to the hosting account protected.

6. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — whether you gave it on a form, in an app account, or directly over WhatsApp or email. Contact us using the details below and we will do it. You can also block the measurement and advertising cookies described above in your browser's settings; the site works normally without them.

7. Children's privacy

Our sign-up forms do not accept anyone under 10 years old. Where we teach children or teenagers, enrollment and communication are handled by a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian may contact us at any time to see or delete what we hold about their child.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
